New accounts may receive a 7-day free trial with access to core Pro functionality. After the trial ends, continued use of the core app requires an active Pro subscription or Lifetime access. Account management, billing, account deletion, and data export remain available.
The Pro plan removes limits and unlocks additional features. It is available as a monthly or annual subscription.
The Lifetime plan is available as a one-time purchase. It grants access to all Pro features for the lifetime of the service (i.e. for as long as TheBJJ.app continues to operate), with no recurring charges. Lifetime spots are limited and may not be available at all times.
All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, invoicing, sales tax, and VAT on our behalf. When you make a payment, your contractual relationship for the transaction is with Paddle, not directly with TheBJJ.app.
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Lifetime purchases are a single charge with no recurring billing.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will not be affected until their next renewal after the notice period. Lifetime purchases are not affected by future price changes.
You retain full ownership of all content and data you enter into TheBJJ.app. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

The TheBJJ.app name, logo, design, code, and all original content are our intellectual property and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
Your training data and content remain yours. Our intellectual property rights do not extend to the content you create and store on the platform.
We strive to keep TheBJJ.app available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:
In compliance with EU Directive 2019/770 (Digital Content Directive), we will ensure that the digital content remains in conformity with the contract for as long as you have an active subscription. If updates materially reduce functionality, you may be entitled to a remedy.

Except where required by applicable law, Lifetime purchases are not refundable solely because the service is later discontinued, as "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the service rather than the lifetime of the customer.

TheBJJ.app is a training journal and analysis tool. It does not provide medical, coaching, or professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You may delete your account and terminate these terms at any time from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if:

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, except to the extent that mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence applies.
